Review of the established procedures and practices for applying integrity tools for high-risk position. To promote consistency, the following categories of public officials are defined as high-risk positions: (a) police, (b) customs, (c) taxation, (d) public procurement, and (e) social grant schemes.
The criteria are based on the OECD Recommendation on Guidelines for Managing Conflict of Interest in the Public Service, the G20 High-Level Principles for Preventing and Managing ‘Conflict of Interest’ in the Public Sector, the OECD Post-Public Employment Principles, the OECD Recommendation on Transparency and Integrity in Lobbying.
